North/South is upgrading our fleet of Lowrance units, which have served us well over a lengthy period. These units have had a lot of use, but show no signs of packing er in. I'm not going to post pictures....there is too much stuff. Unless otherwise noted, all transducers accompanying are used but still functioning well. All StructureScan Modules come with power cable and Ethernet cable unless otherwise noted.

    HDS Gen1, 83/200 kHz - $225

HDS Gen1 (with some "glue" residue at the edge of the screen), 83/200 kHz - $175

    HDS Gen2, 83/200 kHz - $250

    StructureScan/LSS-1 - $175

    StructureScan/LSS-1 (no power cable) - $125

    StructureScan HD/LSS-2 - $250

    StructureScan HD/LSS-2 - $250

    StructureScan HD/LSS-2 (transducer is NIB) - $300

Consider it sold Craig. I won't be in the city for a while though .... Wed april 26th after 4 pm would be earliest I could pick it up. or after that date. If that doesn't work for you that is understandable.

We still have a couple of Gen2Touch units that we are keeping for the short term, but my plan is that we add one Carbon with StructureScan 3D, and make sure its capabilities are all that I think they can be....if so, we will probably slowly switch all out to Carbon. Not cheap I know....but way cheaper than the "research grade" alternatives out there. IMO, this technology is kind of the leading edge of a paradigm shift in habitat mapping (and also fishing...imagine a blend of Panpotix and SS3D). In another thread, @chrism made a post regarding the technology the Navy has access to.....http://www.adusdeepocean.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/banner-1.jpg and I believe that he is right that this will be the next big thing in terms of tools for anglers.

That's kind of okay I guess lol! With technology like this it is no wonder they seem to be finding more lost shipwrecks than ever before. Going to be unreal when technology like that is affordable for anglers.

My understanding is that it only took about 10 years for Sidescan to go from a "research grade" tool to being accessible to anglers.
